“I went to this branch at around 10:00am on a Saturday. I don’t have a TCF account but the personal check I cashed was written off of a TCF account. A young Asian man (had a tattoo on his arm) couldn’t have been nicer. He cashed my check, asked what denomination bills I’d prefer, counted the money out to me and thanked me. I’m not even one of their customers I was not charged a fee for this service, despite not having an account with TCF. I’m thinking about changing banks. Excellent display of what customer service should be.”

After the sale I experienced a minor issue and called John. He "insisted he issue a full refund" and returned all my money back onto my credit card while we spoke. He then gave me several recommendations using competitors website's. After the sale/refund John did a follow up call to me. At that time I explained to John how I wired the florescent light fixture to a dimmer switch. John had me immediately unplug the light fixture explaining that a florescent ballast can actually catch fire if wired to a dimmer switch. So John not only spent a lot of time and several phone calls with me educating me on the facts but he also offered me a full refund and put my money back on my card as we spoke. “We stayed here at the end of March for a spring break getaway. The outside of the hotel was clean and well-maintained. Olin, welcomed us and was extremely friendly and helped us check in. The hotel had hand sanitizers in numerous locations. The pool area was very large and clean. They did not have a clock or restroom in the pool area you did have to go down the hall. They had a basketball hoop outside as well as a large fire pit and chairs. The continental breakfast was excellent. The lady was extremely friendly and made you feel at home. They had hot foods as well as those to just grab and go. The inside of the hotel was very clean well-maintained cozy they had fireplaces in the main area. We had a one bedroom studio which was very nice and clean. Location wise it was perfect! Restaurants, shopping etc all close by. We definitely plan to go back!”
