“I had an amazing experience at the Burnsville, MN Lunds & Byerlys. While on my way home from work, and in preparation for an evening dinner guest, I stopped and picked up several bags of groceries. Once home and after the grill was fired up, I noticed that the meat that I just purchased did not make it home. I had used the drive-thru pickup. A quick look in my car revealed that one numbered pickup card was still laying there. Byerlys DROVE to my home and hand delivered the missing groceries in time to serve the meal - a good half hour drive for them! And they added in a few grocery surprises. What fantastic customer service! If only everyone handled a simply human mistake with such integrity and speed! The meat department is exceptional. I count on them for freshness and flavor. If you get a chance to know the staff, they are quick with tips and often have suggestions on how to prepare your main dish. They also have their own line of seasonings that complement fish, beef, chicken, and lamb. The variety available for fish, which I love, fits almost and taste bud. Their cheese selection is fantastic; I buy 3-4 varieties every week and have been able to get what I need for most any recipe. The desserts and pastries are really stand-out. I’ve bought the Chocolate Raspberry Mascarpone in a least four locations across the Twin Cities. They likely all use the same recipe, but consistently, the bakery department at the Burnsville location makes them the very best! They sell several brand items that otherwise I am running several place to catch. One favorite that comes to mind are the La Perruche Br Sugar Cubes and Mexican Coke in glass bottles. Out of all few places that I have shopped during COVID-19, I think they have done the best job of keeping a distance between shoppers at checkout, washing things down, and having all the staff wear masks. Most of all, the customer service is second to none!”

“We've been customers here for decades, with checking and savings accounts. We started our daughter out with a savings account as a baby, and after she got her first job, opened up another checking account. It's been good to have her learn about handling money, including deposits, withdrawals and transfers; all which came in handy for paying for college. The bank helped every step of the way. We let her (with some oversight) pay her own college tuition, and have that satisfaction of knowing she was helping to fund her own future. The staff are great, and are so helpful when we/she had questions. Collette is our favorite, but honestly, they are all friendly. This bank is fast with fraud alerts too! Two years ago, after my hubby went to a casino for his work Christmas party. Days later, we got an automated fraud alert phone call (after 7PM) from the bank. Sure enough, we checked the account online, and some guy was having a good old time buying clothes, smoke shop stuff, and eating out on hubby's debit card, 40 miles away. Mind you, hubby took cash to the casino, never once took the debit card from his wallet! So, we promptly called the number back to verify the fraud. The next morning, Collette called and we went over the fraudulent transactions, and we weren't liable for any of it, and she reimbursed our account. Whew! Word to the wise, line your wallet with tinfoil if you don't have a RFID wallet, lesson learned! They can scan cards just by walking by you now! We have not gotten any loans through this bank, but are very satisfied with our other banking needs here, highly recommend. Thank you essential workers!”

“Wow customer service! Today we met with Branch Mgr Karen Westerberg for a HELOC closing. I arrived a bit earlier than my husband and instead of having me wait in the lobby, she invited me into her office for friendly banter. She then was able to get me set up with a checking account to save an additional 1/4 point off the loan (person we had worked with not at this branch did not inform of this savings option). VERY personable, knowledgeable and caring individual. Would recommend Eden Prairie Alerus to my friends and family.”
