“While working with Chris McDaniel, Had them do numerous projects for my house. Started with our main interior living room wall creating “room” because it created way more depth, while bringing a decorative wall to the space. We had them do some 8” shiplap. Being that it turned out so well, we consulted in Chris to see what the options would be to find the space that could be most utilized for a pantry that would also be the most functional. He came up with a plan that still made everything flow, while continuing to hold the “open concept” value of our upstairs living that we wished to hold onto. After both projects turning out amazing, we decided to consult with them about our deck. We presented them with the idea of what we wanted, and they went to work. Within hours we had a design and multiple choices of how we wanted our deck. We settled with a 20x20 square deck due to its functionality and how we wanted to use our outdoor entertaining space. Shortly after that, we decided that we wanted to double our outdoor entertaining space and instantly called Chris at Sota Ridge. We told him we wanted a space that was large enough to entertain a large group and would like something other then the box cutter slab that you see under every deck! He came back with many options that we were pleased with and decided that a cost effective option for us would be to have cylindrical corners on the outer corners. “Normally I don't post reviews but I just thought I should because of the great customer service displayed. There was a gentleman named "Mo" that assisted with a lot of my questions regarding paint. I'm thinking his name is short for "Mo-Paint". He was the only one present at the time and was very polite and answered my questions very professionally. There were particular concerns regarding what kind of finish of paint (gloss, semi gloss, satin, etc), acrylic, oil based, and color selection. He answered them with ease and was very knowledgeable. Again, it was busy there and I noticed a lot of people coming in that had to get the paint and go on with their business. It is good to be patient, especially when you understand that it's not only your time is valuable and important, it's his time and everybody else that comes into the store as well. Too many choices and the mental warfare was wearing me out. But I decided to go with Sherwin Williams Pro Block oil based Primer for cabinets, Color of the Year "Navel" for the kitchen island, "Iron Ore Gray" for doors and "Mindful Gray" a brand called Super Paint for the walls. Very pleasant experience. Thanks again for the great service Mo-Paint! ?️”

“Donna Owens helped us choose furniture and accent pieces for my Dad's move to assisted living, where the focus was ease of use and mobility issues. Helpful advice; knew the inventory well. Helped us arrange special shipping. Great experience. Will consult with her when we choose furniture for ourselves in the spring April 2021: I returned to work with Donna to update furniture, art work, and rugs after the first positive experience. last fall. Donna worked with us for hours, helping us select about 30 new items. She checked on availability and gave us advice on protecting the furniture from stains, etc. She even prepared a quote for us as we pointed out pieces that we wanted to consider several days from then. She was very nice about moving pieces around the showroom floor so we could see if they matched other pieces. Our order was complicated, but there hasn't been a single glitch, thanks to Donna. She let us know that she would be away from Hom the next week and set up everything so that we could make final selections in her absence. That process was seamless and help from her colleagues Ray and Travis was great! Recommend setting up an appointment to have Donna help you, especially on orders where several pieces are involved :-) Deb and Mike”
