When I got back the first thing I did was go to the shop. The couple was sweet professional and knowledgeable. It seemed as though they actually cared about my safety. “Fine sand beach. Big trees if you want shade. Public bathroom, showers, and street parking. White Bear Lake is cleaner than most city lakes. Lots of little kids because the water is so shallow, but no life guard as of 2021.”

“Pleasantview Park is a Nice and Large park. I like how the park is very big and is has a lot of room. Over all good park and nice to visit. My advice come here at night when it's dark and go on the hill to see both St. Paul and Minneapolis at night. Really cool.”

“Awesome staff, super friendly. Bathrooms and showers are cleaner than some hotels. Laundry on site. Sites are very large for a campground with lots of trees, but nicely graded picnic areas on each site with charcoal grill, fire ring and over the fire grill tops. Tons of wildlife including a lot of whitetail deer, ducks, raccoons, even some skunks (that didn't spray me!) Gorgeous lake with incredible sunsets. Prices are great. Staff closes gate at night but it's not locked! Don't let it deter you from camping here. Staff cleaned bathroom every morning around 615 am.”
