“Love baseball! Fields are ok. When in the parking lot off Debra St, Field #1 is the closest field (I believe for 14 yo and up), Field #2 is accessed from the East end (furthest from Debra St) of the parking lot (12 and 13 yo). Field #3 is accessed from the West end (closest to Debra St) of the parking lot. There are paved paths about 1/2 way to each Field #2 and #3, then the ground is uneven and can be more difficult to manage.”

“Wow first time here and it was amazing. I had a lunch break so I came to hang out with my nephew and watch him do tricks on his scooter. The park is very big and you can do soo much. Soccer games were popping. The teens and kids were skateboarding, biking, rollerblading and scooter riding. Some folks were using remote controlled cars. And the environment was very peaceful and friendly. There is a space for grilling too with picnic tables. And a bike track for the daring enthusiasts. Check it out before it gets too cold out!”

“The inside & outside of the Nature Center is full of great displays and cool interactive for young & old alike. Along some of the trails there are little learning signs about the different trees. We hiked one trail which was a little rugged for elders and stroller pushing, but it felt truly like a Nature Walk. It is close to the City but you think you are way out in the country side. Rolling grasslands, forests, bogs. Parking was ample. Pretty wide trails for social distancing. Winter time they groom it for winter activities. Great place to get outside with kids.”

“The company originally intended to place about 50,000 acres under cultivation, but it had difficulty securing sufficient water because earlier ditches held irrigation rights based on prior claims. Court cases regarding water rights dragged on for years. Because the High Line Canal's water rights were junior to 74 other canals in the South Platte watershed, it was frequently dry. Although the agricultural development that the HLC was meant to spawn never fully materialized, the canal nevertheless nourished the growth of both Denver and its eastern suburb, Aurora. In 1924, Denver Water took over the canal.”

“Excellent paths all throughout the park. This is a great place for kids to weather around and get lost. The sunflower fields are nice, as are all the ponds. Public restrooms are currently closed. This nature center is very large of you include all the other parks.”

“Great park. I didn't get to explore the whole thing, but near the small building we had my daughter's birthday in was great. There was a big playground, lots of running space, and the building we rented was great. It's a nice place to have a party. Indoor with a.c. and bathrooms, but easy access to outside tables as well. Pretty affordable for 12 hours of rental time.”

“Nice little family park with paved walking path wide enough for social distancing. Choice of shade or sun no matter what time of day.”
Address: Columbia Heights, MN 55421, USA
“Great place but there’s no social distancing people screaming and can be heard from 2 houses away and people can stay away for 6-4 feet away and always not disinfect the swings when they use it so some social distancing signs will be great to stop the spread”
Address: 756 3rd Ave S, South St Paul, MN 55075, USA
“Great, open atmosphere to allow your little ones to play. Usually, the splash pad is open or will open soon, that aside, during these unusual and uncertain times, members of the community practice social distancing while understanding kids will be kids and want to play with one another. The city does a great job keeping the park clean a debris free.”
