“This school is a great place for your kids to grow and learn. The teachers and staff are very supportive wonderful people. The gym teachers are angry mean jerks that yell our kids and call them names. The music teacher is really great and my kids love her class. The art and home room teachers have always been super awsome. For real ask your kids what they think about the phy ed teachers you probably won't like what they have to say. I witnessed it first hand one day. Then when i asked my sons and their friends what they thought about their gym teachers they said. That they are angry mean jerks that yell at us and call us names. Gym is usually a boys favorite part of the day I don't get why it is so different in this fun progressive upbeat place of learning.”

“My daughter has attended the Russet KinderCare Center for almost 4 years now and has done very well. We are now in our 4th classroom and on our 4th teacher and I can honestly say that all of the classroom teachers we have experienced have been top notch; and have worked well with my daughter while communicating regularly with me. Her current teacher, Ms. Billie, is phenomenal!! She takes extra time to work with my daughter on curriculum-based activities and even checks in on her when she’s sick. Making the decision to place my child at this center has proven to be a rewarding one. My daughter loves her teacher and classmates and enjoys going to school each day. I can honestly say the Russet KinderCare Center is a part of our family.”

“Our son attends yellow brick road and is only 14 months old. He is already using sign language to tell us when he's all done eating or if he wants more food just to name a few examples, which is quite IMPRESSIVE! We did not teach him sign language and he learned that at this facility which is amazing and worth every penny we spend there. Couldn't imagine sending him anywhere else and it seems as if he learns something new every day! And as far as that other review on here I inquired about it and found out it is totally false.”

“IT'S NOT AS BAD AS EVERYONE SAYS IT IS I suffer from really bad social anxiety and have bipolar disorder. I'm a freshman and most of the teachers understand my anxiety and let me work at my own pace to help prevent any breakdowns and panic attacks. Yes drugs are sold in the school and weapons are found in the school but that's why we have metal detectors now and most high schools in NY sell drugs in them there aren't fights everyday 24/7 and some of the teachers are really nice I'm in the agriculture program. The only lockers we have that we use are in the gym locker room.”

From the classroom to the workplace, LILA equips individuals with skills that will last a lifetime. The only thing I wish to improve is strengthening their programs for students with learning disabilities. I am so thankful for the community and although it is bittersweet, I will say my final goodbye. The camaraderie and group spirit remind me of my youth harmonizing around a campfire at camp. “Great school! I attended Irondale from 2004-2008 and I felt that they have a great program. All the teachers were helpful, classes were relevant and went onto to help in college especially with PSEO and AP courses. Irondale isn't a huge athletic school as I felt that the main focus was on academics but bottom line is they are a top notch school in my honest opinion.”
