River View Retreat and RV Park

I was just visiting a friend there but was very nice. Clean and friendly people.

I cannot tell you how wonderful this place is. We have been here for 4 months and have enjoyed every moment here. The owners are so caring and helpful, they have become like family. Our neighbors were so kind and everyone looks out for each other. The property is gorgeous right on the river. You see so much wildlife along the river. It's the best place to stay in St. Joe hands down. We will miss this little park and all our friends we made there.

I move here the end of July first part of August 2017 and the amazing stuff you can see in summer fall. And now it winter time it is amazing you can see all kinds of wild life bold eagles golden eagles ect. I love watching them fly around along the river it just beautiful when it snows it tops everything off. Can wait to see what spring will bring

The area nearby is filled with aging mobile homes and older lake cabins. When we reached the park I was astounded as to how close to the river we were. The spots are very tight. They are clustered in between a house (available for rent) and other out buildings. Hookups were excellent (cable was not used). Wifi was iffy. The grounds were well kept and beautiful. There are a series of benches along the river along with steps that go down to the river. The bank is very steep so caution is required.

The reason to come here is the river. It's just amazing to sit and watch and ponder the history and the beautiful views.
