I would day this is the best Indian food around! AMAZING food, wonderful service, and a very clean and inviting space. This is a great place to eat family style. We ordered three different dishes to share and each was very unique. We also loved the wine selection!

After a long day, I wanted to grab a tasty meal to go for dinner. I went to Taj Mahal for the first time and LOVED my meal. The spices in the butter chicken are superb. Try out the Vegetable and Potato Tikki appetizer if you are looking to try something new/different for under $5! Order to go or enjoy your meal in person..they have a great environment for dining even though it may not look like “much” from the outside.

The rice and chicken mango warmed my soul. I think my soul and stomach are connected somehow. We got another serving of ras malai cause it’s really good. The flavor is subtle enough but tasteful. For the amount serving it is justifiably cheap.

The place is clean. Servers are nice & efficient. Lamb curry is so tasty. Garlic naan is a MUST!

The owner (sweet auntie) is very friendly & attentive to all customers!

What else do you need?? This place has everything you might be looking for at Indian dining!

Hands down the BEST Indian food in town. I have been coming to Taj Mahal for over 20 years... I haven't been in for about 7 years years until today to celebrate a friends Birthday. I have been back in KC for almost 2 years and have been waiting for the right special moment to come back. I am SO thankful that they survived the pandemic and the food was amazing as usual and as usual even though its been a while since stopping in they remember me. I have celebrated so many monuments in my life here and it is always consistent and they are always friendly and provide exceptional service. I love you Taj Mahal thanks for being part of the best moments in life.
