“Came here after coming back from the Army and stayed for a long time till I got a job in another city and had to move again. I loved the music, close-knit feel, and the AUTHENTICITY of the people. It's not a big fancy building; but the church isn't a building anyway, it's the people. Pastor Bill in particular is warm, friendly, and funny. If you want to get real with Jesus, this is definitely the place. They have a group of guys who love hunting and outdoorsy stuff; that's not necessarily my area of interest, but we still got along great. Pastor Bill counseled me and my fiance prior to getting married and it was REALLY helpful; he gave us really wise counsel and set us up for success. And then he officiated our wedding!”

“I've been going to this house church in Lees Summit for 10 years. It has been a wonderful experience. I'm growing in God's Word and prayer, stretching in participation, and enjoying the deeper Christian relationships. They have sound Christian doctrine, and they study the Bible verse by verse. Music is a mix of traditional hymns, a few contemporary hymns, and some children's songs. Children range from newborn to adult age. They are Baptist.”
