“Been a member of KCRC for a long time. Excellent flying field, does require AMA membership and an annual park pass, but well worth it. I also recommend joining KCRC , you won't regret it if you are new to the RC World. Good Luck and Good Flying!”

“The place was clean, and there was ample staff available to help. They had plenty of dogs and cats to choose from for adoption. We didn't see any young puppies, but they did have four kittens. All of the animals had already been spayed or neutered. Most of the adult cats we're $45 to adopt. They wanted $150 for each kitten. Four stars because three of the four kittens had goopy eyes. We were told they would send drops home with us to fix that, and that their vet would look at them after a week if they still seemed sick.”

“I go there walking. They have handicap. They have handicap fishing at the lake too they have Docs for fishing for handicapped people. A lot of people go out there walking. And they go out there at lunch time and sit. Kids go there to play here lately they've been using the smaller writers instead of tractors to cut the grass and it cuts it a lot shorter kids can play there some people let their dogs out to run when no one's looking.”

“I love coming out to the park with my dogs. The only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is that I really wish there was a large sign telling parents with small children not to come in and take their walks in the dog park. I have a puppy that needs to run and I don't feel that she can run when there are small children walking the sidewalks, for fear that she will topple them. There is a children's park right next door and they need to stay on that side. Otherwise, this is our favorite place to go”

“I stay here for a week every month for my job and this is a nice campground. The sites are well maintained and the staff is friendly and helpful. The only reason that I only give it four stars is that a few of the RV sites can be a little bit of a challenge to get your RV level. Bathrooms are clean and are only 1 year old! From April thru October this is my go to campground in the KC area.”

“I love camping here, the bathrooms are always cleaned, they have a shower, never run out of toilet paper thank goodness, and they groundskeeper is very nice. I would like it if they would have Wi-Fi, and possibly lower their prices on the fire wood. Other than that, and it's a great place to camp.”

“Awesome park. Area for little kids (crawlers to 2) and a play area for a bit bigger kids (5-7). Splash pad area for kids of all ages, several shaded shelters, several picnic tables. In addition to softball fields and lots of green space, and a bike trail / walking trail all the way around the park. Can be busy at times...”

“This trail is a favorite. Always watch for uneven spots and people who don't follow common sense rules of the trail like staying to the right so others can pass. Other than that, we appreciate this trail and always feel more balanced after the ride. ????”

“There has been inappropriate graffiti sprayed it was nudity with racist slurs and just really disturbing pictures the following week when I went back it had all been covered up and painted over! I feel safe on this Trail and I like the way they keep it clean!”

“We've been coming to this dog park daily for 4.5 years and it's been a goldmine for my energy-filled pup. It's a huge area of fenced in grass to run around on, with some agility equipment and surrounded by trees. It used to be $25 for the whole year (a steal!) and it required a pass to get through the locked gate, and all dogs to be neutered and have their shots in order to get a membership. I can't believe people didn't want to follow those rules or pay the small fee for the upkeep of it. It became free to the public almost two years ago. For the most part, the dogs who are brought in are friendly and the people who come, look out for their own dog and pick up after them. But there are also those that do not pick up after their dog, and don't pay attention to the dogs or what's going on around them. Some bring in unsocialized or unfixed dogs and that can get stressful and even dangerous for everyone. The park is not kept up like it should be (lots of poop and the grass is most of the time too long so you lose balls and toys), but it is still my dog's happy place and we continue to go. The park is broken up into three areas - two large dog areas separated by a gate and a small dog area. It's really great having that gate so you can separate dogs if need be. The small dog area does not have a water fountain so if you bring your dog into that area, you have to bring your own water. In winter they shut the water off completely in the whole park, so it's important to bring water and a bowl around November through April. The shade structures don't provide much shade in summer and are not waterproof when it rains. We've met some really lovely people through the dog park and my dog has some great puppy friends there. If it hadn't become free to the public, we might not have met half the people and dogs that we now call friends. We love this park, but it does have its faults (mainly due to people and lack of resources for upkeep). If it was a paid for park and was kept up better, it'd be a 5 star rating from us.”

“Fun for the whole family. There is a long walking trail and several spots along the trail for fitness stops. Equipment for the children to play on, not to mention the spray park itself. There is a covered space to get out of the sun, and it makes a nice place for gatherings such as birthday parties, BBQ, and family reunions.”
