  I don't get to eat here often enough. Secret little fried chicken honeyhole. Known by locals, and a great place for people visiting to pick up amazing bar food for a reasonable price.

  Best and real southern style fried chickens. I had live in Georgia and New Orleans. I know how the fried chickens taste should like. Other fried chicken restaurants in St. Louis offer St. Louis style that have too much flavor and they are too salty. Hodak's chickens have mild taste, which can be prefect when you have with sauce. I love the Mama's sticky sauce! Best!

  Portions are great, everything is good, great sides. I'm sorry though, the chicken is crispy and cooked right but just bland. Add a little flavor please. Service has been good in the few times I've been, but I wouldn't go here if I was in a hurry.

  Mary provided excellent service from start to finish. The food was good and we got a large meal at a good price. I've heard SO much about the chicken and how it's the best in St. Louis and I was just a little underwhelmed. The chicken was perfectly cooked and juicy, but it was bland. I am glad I tried it, but I just don't know if I will be returning.
