  Delicious food. A lot of choices on the menu. Staff is very friendly and helpful. There is usually a little bit of a line, but the staff does a great job of keeping the line moving. All kinds of cool items all over the walls. Great option for lunch if you are in the area.

  A St. Louis classic. Neighborhood location, a tribute to St. Louis history and great great sandwiches. We have gone there as a couple but, given the quality, this time we bought sandwiches for our entire board of directors. It can be a wait, so call your order in early! Great choice of sandwiches to choose from, priced fairly, been many times, will enjoy again. Summer great place to sit outside, enjoy the entertainment, know limited seating.

  Delicious, but beware of the gigantic portions! I wish there were some more veggies on the menu like greens or beans but the food is great and affordable. I loved the Reuben and red beans and rice. Dining area is small but pleasant. Huge lines at lunch, clearly very popular.

  Amazing. The line is intimidating, but definitely worth it and it moves swiftly. atmosphere is very blues-y and the staff are incredibly helpful and kind. food is always hot and fresh and they have a great selection of beers to choose from. check it out if you get the chance!

  This place is always crowded, but it definitely lives up to the hype. You will have to wait in a line, but don't let that scare you. The line moves quickly, and the food is worth the wait. I almost always order the always-changing special of the day, but if I had to pick my favorite regular menu item, and my recommendation for first-time visitors, it would be Mike's Spicy Beef and Cheddar.

I work near Blues City Deli and it's is a frequent stop for lunch. Don't be discouraged if you see a line out the door it moves very quickly. I'm from Philly, where we take our sandwiches quite seriously, and (in my opinion) Blues City Deli has the best sandwich in all of STL.
