“I cannot believe we have lived just down the street from this place for 10 years and have never tried it. I've noticed some complaints in reviews about the atmosphere and decor, but these are the exact things we found charming about Veritas - it's a very homey, unpretentious atmosphere. The food was unique and incredible. Every single thing we ordered was absolutely delicious (wish I'd taken pics), from the appetizers, both of our entrees, and the carrot cake dessert. The only complaint we had was that everything took so long (but this was actually also nice because it extended our date night dinner for longer than it otherwise would have been). I think there was probably only one waiter serving the entire dining room, but she was working very hard and the owners were also helping out where they could. We will definitely be returning!”

I love to give her creative control over my hair when I go in wanting specific colors and seeing what she comes out with. “I just want to give a huge shout out to Corner Pub and Grill in Ellisville because they were absolutely wonderful to work with for hosting a baby shower. I hosted a baby shower November 13, 2021 for my daughter and I could not have been happier with the staff, food, service, and overall atmosphere. Tim and Dave, the managers, we’re so easy to work with and really helped me with our vision. Dave was there to open the restaurant on the day of and helped with set up and design of the room. Honestly, there was nothing he would not have done for us. Hans, our server, was very attentive to our needs and speeding with delivery. He also showed so much kindness and patience with all of us that I look forward to having him serve us again. Please make sure you consider using this restaurant for your future events because they will not disappoint you but leave you with a feeling of satisfaction and happiness.”

“Ever since I was a boy I had this vision. A vision of a glorious mountain with a beautiful landscape. Atop this mountain lays a sandwich. Up until today, I had no idea what it meant. For no particular reason I decided to stop by this local restaurant and pick up a roast beef meal with a Dr. Pepper. The woman that took my order was exceptionally nice and patient with me, and the young man that handled my money had a wide and bright smile that made me feel valued as a customer. The crew at this location had my order out ridiculously fast and I headed back home. My whole life had been leading up to this moment. I unwrapped the beautifully wrapped roast beef sandwich and took a bite. Upon doing so, all my questions have been answered. The sandwich that sat atop the mountain was this very sandwich. Not only were the fries absolutely crazy good, but this sandwich was something else. It was a sandwich fit for a king. My mouth-watering from it's savory goodness and delightful seasoning, that is exactly how I felt: like a king.”

“Great tan spa. The girls are super sweet and helpful. Love that you don't have to sign a contract and can either pay as you go or even better pay by the month for unlimited access. Lots of lotion choices. They do stand up, lay down beds and spray tans. As well as custom spray tans. Beds and facility are clean. Beds are well maintained and bulbs are routinely replaced.”

“Still one of my favourite burger restaurants. I always eat too much. Don't be afraid to order a single patty, the standard is two and they are top quality and well cooked. Never order more than the small fries - they aways give you extra. Go easy on the toppings! They are always free and can swamp the burger. Simpler is better. And they always have malt vinegar. Did I mention free peanuts in the shell while you wait!”

“My family and I shopped here for an Indian friend's Christmas Party. We had an awesome time viewing the large selection in the store. The owner was so helpful and considerate. She went above and beyond to assist in decision-making and clothing options. She was dead on selecting sizes for my son's, who were not with me. We had an amazing night with friends and got too many compliments to count on our traditional Indian garb. We hope to have occasion to visit the store more in the future.”

“I ordered a pizza and salad from this MOD Pizza location via delivery, it arrived 40 minutes later than projected and cold. Granted the weather conditions haven’t been ideal but the store should have given a better projected time, and the location was very close, so the pizza should not have been cold. The flavor of the pizza was very good once I reheated it, and the salad was amazing.”
