“As most have stated I can't say enough about Dr. Mauney's skills, bed side manner, and professionalism. My replaced biological valve was in very bad shape by 2020, I just didn't know how bad. Pre-surgery test were to be completed January and February 2020 then surgery March 2020. Seven days before the scheduled surgery the hospital and surgeon informed me all elective surgeries had been canceled due to Covid. My wife and I accepted this and started waiting for it to be rescheduled. We waited a month with no word and my health was deteriorating rapidly, chest pains, shortness of breath, tired easily, etc. Scared, a recommendation from a friend said call Dr. Mauney, I called his office on Wed 4/29, he saw me Fri 5/1, and I was in surgery 5/4. He saw how bad the valve was and wasted no time. Here was my hospital stay during Covid, surgery 5/4, ICU 5/5, Step Down 5/6 and 5/7 and sent home the after noon of 5/8. My recovery was quick, I haven't felt this good in over 10 years. Now 9 months post surgery I'm doing mostly what Dr. Mauney and my cardiologist recommend - THANK YOU Dr. Mauney”
