It helped us enjoy our meal so much more knowing they checked ingredients, asked questions instead of saying “I think it’s fine”, and we really enjoyed it. We had such a great experience for breakfast we went back the next day for lunch. Austin was an amazing server and I really appreciate the care that went into serving us.”

“My husband and I ordered a couple pizzas and a 2 liter of soda, there was only one person working at the time and she was honestly amazing. She was doing everything on her own and dealing with some other things. I really want to praise her on how great she was doing all on her own, she ran that place like a champ. I also want to mention how sweet she was even with taking everything on alone. The Domino's in St. Ann is the best place I have been so far, the other are also good, but St. Ann has every other store beat just because of one awesome lady.”

“We were recommended The Lazy River Grill by a local resident. So glad we were. I ordered Walleye with chicken gumbo as a substituted side. My wife ordered the Basa platter and my mom ordered the grilled chicken breast. They use their own batter blend for the breading on the fish which tasted great. The chicken was so tender I was able to cut it with my fork. My kids loved the chicken strips and the scoop of ice cream you get with each kids meal.”

“For cafeteria food it was very enjoyable and the prices were very reasonable. The selection of food was very good as well. The staff was friendly and seemed to know many of the patrons. Having said that, this rating would have been five stars however eating at this location presents an inconvenience of going to an ATM to get cash. This establishment only deals in cash, no cards or any other form of payment. When we asked why the cashier explained the prices would have to rise so significantly to pay for the expense of allowing cards as tender they feel the prices would be too high for the clientele. I've worked for years in the retail industry at all levels and this explanation is not acceptable or reasonable. Side note; this was the first time I've actually touched cash in over two years. One might say that fact is irrelevant, however I feel it speaks for itself. If every establishment I've visited in two years can afford to pay for the card systems, logic says this place can as well.”

My husband and I were looking at homes in the area and she sat with for a while to give us some insider knowledge.The food just topped off the experience. Everything is made from scratch so plan to spend some time just relaxing and shooting the breeze with the other patrons while she cooks up your order. The homemade Clam Chowder was soul warming. The iced tea was good and strong without being bitter. Portions are hearty and you definitely get your money's worth. My husband ordered the Prime Rib dip with horseradish, and it was the most explosive savory experience he's had in a long time. All of the veggies were fresh, the cheese and abundant and the rolls crust was well crisped. I had the Grinder and it awesome. Chicken bacon, cheese. And tangy Ceasar dressing. It came fresh out of the oven and my only complaint was that I ate too much Clam Chowder to get through even half the sandwich. We highly recommend this place and hope to be able to return after we make our move to WA.”
