“Seems off the beaten path even though it's not. Lovely place, I just wish people would pick up after themselves , lots of broken glass and trash. It has a small parking lot that gets full , especially on summer days. Lots of people from about 10 am until 5 pm. Adjacent to a few trails that are heavily used by cyclists. The path to the gravel bar can get super muddy after rain and/or high river levels. Check with NOAA website for Meramec River levels before packing up the car with gear if you are planning on wading or swimming. There is no lifeguard (obviously as it is the river) so swim at your own risk. Very little shade during the summer as well so pack sunblock and or a pop up shade structure or Umbrella.”

“UPDATE: SEPTEMBER 2020 I just had another fantastic appointment today with this entire staff and I couldn't be happier with the excellent service that I have continued to receive through the years. I have been coming here for over 6 years and they have treated many of my pets and rescues. I have seen all of the doctors and really like them all. The compassion and empathy that I receive at Veterinary Care Center is second to none. The entire staff truly cares about my pets, and I never feel rushed or that they don't have time to answer all of my questions. If I have a sick pet, they have always made room to see them immediately. I have multiple dogs and cats, and they handle even my difficult large dogs with compassion and patience. Pricing is very reasonable, especially for the level of care I receive. I have been to many vets in the St Louis area in the past 30 years, and this one is the best in my opinion. I will always make the trip to see these doctors!”

Great service from this place from my first phone call, to checking in, seeing the doctor and checking out. GREAT PRACTICE! They are so helpful and yes, hearing aids are costly, but you have options, you can go see an audiologist (at Gateway) who has training and a degree to back what he/she knows, or you can go to one of those big super stores and hope that the hearing aid dealer (who has minimal education to back what they are selling you) has your best interest at heart.”
