“My husband has lived at the Gables for a year and a half. I rest easy because I know he is safe and well cared for. He is in a HOME with 7 others and 1 or 2 staff which is a great ratio. They have their own kitchen, living room and dining room. He tells me the food is good and from what I have seen it is true. It is a flat price for everything and because they are not charging me extra for laundry or administering medication, I know exactly what my bill will be at the end of the month. If I see something that seems off, I go directly to the Head Nurse or the Owner. They ALWAYS respond appropriately and in a timely manner. They treat me with respect and kindness even if I am bring an issue to their attention. No, it isn't like having them at home. I don't think any place would meet those standards. Nevertheless, I know he is safe, well fed, able to be outside and has his own private room. It is very much a community in progress. One that I am thrilled to have found.”

I did the inbody scan and he took the time to explain the results and make a plan for the future. He even explained things like basal metabolic rate and why my daily calories should be higher than I originally thought. Then he showed me specific products I could use to help me achieve my goals. He made up samples of some of the powders so I could try them and make sure I liked the taste before I invested. Overall, I felt everyone was very knowledgeable, but also genuinely cared about the well-being of their customers. I’m excited to come back in two weeks for another scan and see how much progress I’ve made.”

She added 3" of foam to rebuild the chairs to their original seat level and the upholstery work was meticulously completed with piping around the edge. Originally she promised the chairs would be done in July but I was pleasantly surprised to have them delivered earlier in June. “First and formost its tight backing off the street. You will have to go to the end of the road and turn around. The loading dock is next to there side door on the left side of the office entrance. People are nice and respecful and will ask how you would like your trailer loaded if you have a preference. The office side doesnt open until after 9 or 10 but the dock side where you load is open as early as 730am just ring the bell on the side door and they will load you.”
