“Couldn’t wait to write a review omg!! So i had my whole complete exhaust system stolen by some junkies im assuming, I originally thought it was my converters stolen but took it here and jim discovered it was my whole exhaust system! (They stole my license plates too by the way.. both of them.) Crazy!! When i first brought it in Jim gave me a estimate but said he is going on vacation and I was trying to get my car repaired asap. But all the other car shops were trying to lowball me and overcharge, which jim told me they would do. One shop EVERYONE told me to go to called Don’s muffler, tried to over charge me too! And she’s a woman! So i ended up waiting for Jim to come back from vacation, (worth the wait for sure)! I even brought my own parts which DID NOT FIT! I was so over it by this point! But he ended up finding the right parts and fixed my car for an even lower price than he offered before! So this is my go-to automotive shop from now ON! He had the car done in a hr and told me its not as quiet as it used to be but quieter than it was. I started the car and it WAS quiet like it used to be if not quieter, and runs so much better! Quality work, Jim is a very experienced mechanic and a life saver! They open on time and all the mechanics are hard at work! i am so thankful and relieved to have found this shop🥰🥰”

Her experience was evident right away as she answered my questions while dropping in pertinent points when applicable. Within 1min I was approved for the replacement through insurance, yet the ‘out-of-pocket’ bid provided came in almost 15% lower that some of the top competitors around. If you out as much stock into customer treatment as I do, I do not know if there is a finer establishment around. Can not recommend highly enough!”

“Bruce was intimately familiar with my transmission and the failure I was experiencing. A service bulletin was written on it back in 2008 which he explained would still require a rebuild due to high mileage. He briefed me on expected repair options and well estimated costs. He evaluated the vehicle soon after I left it with him. It was an easy call to go ahead with the best warranted option. The work was done sooner than predicted, the pickup went smoothly, and the transmission works even more smoothly. I will highly recommend this company to others in need.”

My wife’s car was making a strange noise and when they test drove it they noticed it and fixed it without me ever bringing it up which I thought was above and beyond customer service. Their prices are very competitive. When you call around and price tires you may get a quote that’s less for tires BUT you better be sure it includes mounting and balancing them because most places are just giving you the price of the tire not installed. “Got 2 new tires in Springfield as an emergency and one of them blew out on my way home. I know it wasn’t anyones fault they gave me a defective tire but high ridge Walmart made it right and replaced my tire, I just had to pay $10 for a new warranty. They also repaired my leaking valve stem for free when I had to go back a second time for a flat on the 2nd new tire. Don’t buy Douglas tires, you get what you pay for. Everyone at this automotive center was lovely though, great customer service. Just go early in the morning (in and out in 30 minutes) since it’s first come first serve and you could wait a few hours.”

“My wife and I were in St Louis to visit our grandson and Washington University. We had just arrived with a non functioning passenger side windshield wiper. It was Friday at 4PM when I pulled into the service bay. I spoke to Scott in service who immediately came out to the car and confirmed the wiper was not working. He took the car into service and within 20 minutes had the blade working again. Apparently a screw had come loose. Not only was the service fast, he refused to have me pay anything for the service.
