Matthes, DDS, PC - here in Lee’s Summit...after Spencer & Spencer turned our walk-in of urgency away due to being fully booked, and lacking compassion for her issue. I shared with the two receptionist there...what my daughter had been dealing with over the weekend- the same story I shared with Spencer & Spencer. -a painful wiggley tooth that was ready to come out...but didn’t! Their kindness and concern was immediately apparent! They asked if they could take a look right there at the counter...to get a better assessment of what I was talking about. They immediately had seen the issue. My daughter was in their dentist’s chair within 5 minutes! Doctor Matthes was seeing my child, and extracted the tooth WITHIN the following 5 minutes! My daughter lit up with a smile; she didn’t even feel the removal. That less-than-10-minutes trip meant so much to my daughter! Doctor Matthes and her staff were EXCELLENT! I’m bringing her back for future care, and follow ups!”

“Dr. Gary Shanker was my orthodontist when I was a teenager. His office has a very positive atmosphere, and made my time of wearing braces a very positive experience. The staff was always friendly, always made me feel welcome. The office overall was way ahead of its time back in 1999 when I started going there, with a small tv and video game systems at every station. I would imagine that the setup is still top of the line. I always looked forward to my visits, and if my kids ever need an orthodontist, I will be going here.”
