“I have seen both my parents to their passing and have appreciated the help and support of hospice care. Through these situations I've dealt with three different providers, and Ascend was truly the best. They stepped in and helped me with my dad when he returned to his nursing home after a six week stay in the hospital due to covid 19. Their care lifted him in every way and he ended up improving so miraculously that he went off hospice after six months. About nine months later as he declined, I needed hospice assistance again. Sadly, the nursing home would only let me use a certain company that their new owner allowed. I don't think this is technically legal, but it ended up being the last day of my dad's life and I did not want to spend time distracted from him. Before knowing this I had contacted Ascend for help, and they were ready. Then I had to go with a different company, whose name I can't even recall. Despite this, Ascend offered me encouragement by phone and even sent a very thoughtful condolence card after my dad passed. It has now been six months, and I keep a short stack of cards that were especially meaningful. As I reread the Ascend card today, I realized I want to share my experience for others who may be selecting support during a difficult time. Your loved one's needs as well as your own will be met in the best way if you choose Ascend.”

From communication to following instructions to potty training, they have helped with everything that our son has needed and he has made tremendous progress while attending full time therapy.
