“Only losing a star for lack of parking and lack of shade on upper fields. But other than that- we LOVE this park. Good officials, plenty of shade on lower fields, nice sidewalks. Opening upper concessions would be REALLY helpful when staffing allows.”

“Wow wow wow. I LOVED this place. 100F heat and an hour long easy hike to see very cool wolves. Our tour guide was awesome. Funny story...in the gift shop I bought a "souvenir". Dream Catcher earrings. When I got back to the vehicle I saw the tag on the back "Made in Canada" Lol...I'm from Canada 😆😂😅”

“Today, I visited Memorial Hall to see the plans for a new St. Charles Park. It seemed nice to me. The large room had a wooden floor. Two of the walls had plenty of windows. On the way to the room I saw a smaller room that looked like it was used for presentations or movies. I think, I read that the large room can hold 250 people for wedding receptions / rentals. There were not 250 people in there today. Today, there were a few tables set up and a lot of easels with posters showing plans of the future park. We went around the room visiting the different displays. The room did well for the event I attended and allowed for social distancing.”

“It's a nice little garden inside Hyde Park in Midtown Kansas City. Flowers are really beautiful and they are arranged in a concentric fashion. There are not many butterflies though.”

“Really nice, the blue trail that I hiked had enchanted forest vibes. It was short and sweet and exactly what I wanted with lots of scenery. Beebalm, lots of fungi, and fruiting mayapples. Also a couple really cool cliff caves. The staff here are really nice. I wasn't sure where to start hiking but a nice man named Dave helped me find the trailhead and maps. Thanks for keeping this place going guys!”

“🗺 Dardenne Greenway - BaratHaven #️⃣ Greenway 9 of 28 🚴 4.5 mile loop ☀️ 0% Shaded 📈 9/10 📝 Gorgeous greenway! One of my new favorites. I used to live nearby and my wife and I would run around the lake, but I didn’t know that the greenway extended beyond the lake until today. It’s funny, because the lake isn’t even my favorite part – there’s a prairie across the street at Bluebird Meadow Park that is stunning. There’s not a lot of signage, but if you’re at the parking lot by the lake and go right, you’ll soon come upon a fork – left to go around the lake and right to go to the prairie. I liked the prairie so much that I did two laps! The greenway itself doesn’t really have any shade, but there’s another short trail beyond the soccer field that is shaded. There’s also a short nature trail that goes through the woods and by the creek, but it’s washed out and dangerous. I’d recommend sticking to the lake and the prairie. Bonus: with the big sky of the prairie and the reflections on the lake, sunsets here are beautiful!”

“I found this piece of wilderness in an otherwise quite populated area in West St. Louis County a couple years ago. It is a hidden gem located above Bluebird Park. The hiking trails are natural and run mostly on higher ground with a few dips and climbs. It is a great someone had the foresight to designate this area undisturbed for our enjoyment.”

“Very nice ,just wish a few of the visitors would not dump trash on the lot .We all use this for fun and hunting, and not to mention the wildlife that gets into it .Though the department of conservation does amazing job .There were great food plots for all the animals and the road going through was very nice .It shows they take priority in it !! And seen on deer this morning and few others seen some as well .Will be back next weekend .”

Address: 2751 Glencoe Rd, Glencoe, MO 63038, USA
“This was a great, moderate hike. Very well maintained and partially paved. Plenty of nature to be seen. If you're just out for an easy hike make sure you stay on this trail. It links up with other trails that will quickly turn into unpaved, hilly, rustic and rocky trails. All the trails were well marked though. I personally went to explore and found some amazing spots off trail, because that's where life really happens 😉, but it's not for the faint of heart. Terrain was quite difficult in spots. Seen porta potties and a drinking fountain, but did not test functionality. Great family destination, plenty of room to run around. Picnic tables and grills. Pet friendly as long as they're leashed. Limited parking, but seemed like alot of turnover, so you probably wouldn't have to wait long for a spot. Overall, a great way to spend an afternoon.”

“A moderate trail. Beautiful views. Well shaded. This is one of my new favorites. I'm very curious about the history. Appears to have been donated to the city/state given all the remnants of concrete foundation.”

“Love walking the trails on both sides of the park, it's peaceful and lots of beautiful scenery! Nice park for walks, fishing in the creek or ponds, riding bikes, having a picnic, or attending a concert/ festival. Hopefully covid restrictions lighten up so we can get back to the food trucks and music this summer!”

“This is a nice park with clean facilities. There's basketball and tennis courts, as well as a covered pavilion with restrooms by the main parking lot. If you are there for the playground you will have a small walk that crosses a cool bridge. I take my kids and dog here quite a bit and we always have fun.”
