“With regard to the above comment, We at Cricket Wireless made every attempt to address your husband's concerns. He switched from a telephone carrier that was a CDMA company (a type of platform over which cellular service is provided) to us (we run on a GSM platform). Typically, GSM service can be interrupted by metal buildings, which is the particular problem your husband was having. The nature of the interference had nothing to do with the coverage that Cricket Wireless offers. In fact, CW is an AT&T company which means it runs on the second strongest coverage in the entire wireless telecommunications industry. All of this was explained to your husband. No one in the industry--not T-mobile, Sprint, Verizon, AT&T, or anyone else--can describe any area of coverage while predicting every eventuality that might cause reception issues. For example, if one lives in a valley they might not have reception that's as great. No map has ever been produced by carriers that describes how elevation might affect your reception. Nevertheless, we tried to help by offering that he could connect to a Wifi source and make wifi calls on his phone while at work. We reached him no less than 5 times in an attempt to resolve his issue (he never called back after our last attempt to reach him), because customer service is our focus at Cricket Wireless. We are a premium provider of cellular service and our reputation depends on the care we provide.”
