  My grandmother lives here and this place is absolutely amazing!! My grandma gets to go out on field trips and they have so many family togethers. They decorate for any and every holiday which makes it feel homey and festive at all times.

  My mother has been living at Spiritwood since December 2018. She has memory issues, but still likes to be active.
  I love this place. The apartments are cleaned right down to washing the bedding. The whole facility is also so clean without any coverup smell. Meals are served in the dining room where friendships form. The servers get to know each resident and know their special needs as well as likes and dislikes.
  The staff are all wonderful and caring. From the smiling face greeting you as you walk in, to the aids (who do everything from helping mom remember how to work her channel changer to making sure her heat is set correctly) I can’t say enough about the nurses and aids tracking mom down to give her her medicine each day. I know I can’t list each person and there are so many others.
  Michelle and Jennifer are the two faces I see and know who are running the show. They along with the activities director, are always coming up with new things for the residents to do and see. Mom has gone so many places. To name just a few... outings to parks, plays, the Issaquah trolly and fish hatchery.
  They plan family activities so you can come and spend time with your loved ones plus have a good time doing it. We have really enjoyed the bingo nights Elvis showed up and the ladies loved it. My grandson really looks forward to the ice cream socials.
  Every month they have a calendar of events so you can see the options for each day. They have many times each week where my mom can exercise or do an art project. They show movies and sports in the theater, and always seem to have some sort of cards being played in the library. Mom is also a regular visitor at the beauty salon on site.
  I can’t say enough good things about this place. Moving mom to this area was hard on her and also on me. Spiritwood made that transition a little less difficult.
  I know I’m go on but I am there so much and see first hand everything this staff does. I know the food is good because I’ve had many meals there with mom and the other ladies at her table.
  To sum this all up. If you can get your parent or parents into this wonderful place you’ll never regret it.

  Excellent community that is well maintained and conveniently located. Staff is always a pleasure to work with.

  My father lives at Spritwood. He's going to be 93 very soon. Recently, I listened to a public radio discussion about elder abuse and the concerning state of our assisted living environments. I could only think how very fortunate our family is to be a part of Spiritwood and their caring staff and management. The environment is ALWAYS clean, what I refer to as 'spic and span' everywhere--dining room, bathrooms, communal areas, and private living spaces. That says a lot! When I visit, I immediately notice how good this big home smells when I walk in the door and how busy everyone is all the time. Immediately following all meals, the capable staff gets to work cleaning the dining area. Spiritwood prides itself on having an ample and professional staff--from cleaners to dining servers to nurses--no corners are cut. Michelle Strazis runs a tight, caring and efficient ship! Thank-you to all!

  Just visited this place. It is wonderful. The staff are so welcoming and helpful. The residents are happy and friendly. The place is decorated so beautifully for the holidays. I stopped by to pick up a tag from their holiday giving tree and was so impressed.
