If you are just passing through or a local, Cup & Cone should be a regular stop for a hot/iced coffee, warm muffin, or cold ice cream. We ordered an amazing iced matcha latte and a strawberry matcha smoothie. Both were perfect. Alternative milk (non-dairy) options are readily available. To eat the kids got a vanilla sundae and a vanilla/strawberry twist sundae. I've had a lot of ice cream and this was some of the best soft serve ice cream I've ever had. Next time I will order a bowl for myself. We love this little diamond in the rough and plan on stopping by as often as we can.”

“I had recently gone to a networking event at Avidor. I was super impressed!!! The event was hosted by a gal Christina Reed, who was so welcoming and fun. She took me on a tour and I got to see the apartments. They were much more spacious than I would had imagined based on the dimensions listed in the brochure. The residents were so fun to talk to and the place is absolutely stunning. It was winter so I did not get to go outside but that pool that I saw outside the window looks absolutely amazing. I had not heard of it prior but was amazed by this place! As a nurse, I love that mature adults get encouraged to have activity and socialization, which are keys for staying healthy and preventing decline that can happen with advancing age. They have so many activities there. It is a tremendous value to live there when considering all of the entertainment, health benefits, and beauty that this place provides. I wish they would lower the age limit so I can move in!!! This place is like a super cozy tropical resort.”

The workers were all neat and always tidied up the area when finished. They were polite, took pride in the quality of their work and really paid attention to all the details! “I struggled with this review because although substandard work that caused me much anxiety was initially done, the owner of the company responded quickly to my complaints and the issues were resolved. I read reviews before I hired this company and thought I would have to worry about nothing. The first crew of Jonathan and his assistant spent spotty 2-4 hr periods over several days prepping the house and left cigarette butts in my yard. They said they were working on another job too so I accepted that without complaint. Although I had asked them several times not to get paint on the brick foundation, I found drips of paint on it. Instead of putting down protection, they got white paint on my red roof. They used dark grey primer on my white house which was to be repainted white. Jonathan told me he had to use 6 coats of white paint to cover the primer in areas that he had painted. Then they smeared dark grey vulkem caulking on the front porch balustrade. This product dries to a grainy finish and even when painted over collects dirt and in my opinion is not appropriate for a balustrade. But maybe if applied appropriately would have not been as big of an issue.Their immediate supervisor who is the job estimator named Scott came to assess my complaints and was impatient with me and defensive of the poor work done, dismissive of my complaints.He said the use of the grey caulk and primer was because they “ran out “ of the white. There are 2 hardware stores that carry these products within 1 mile of my house. He also stated that the caulking job was “normal “. I spent several hours using a solvent to clean up the sloppy work. From then , I communicated with only the owner Casey who was very responsive and came to my house several times to take care of issues.He sent the “A” team of Israel (Izzy) and his assistant. They were able to fix all problems and otherwise did a great job in 2 days! They adequately protected areas from unwanted paint. Casey did not charge me for any extra paint required to cover the dark grey primer. So , all in all, I would recommend this company but make sure they send the “A” team!”

“Wonderful experience I had today at Sala Thai massage. My buddy recommended me to come here after we helped his parents move over the weekend. The practitioner was nice and thorough and compassionate. She asked me to point out the areas where I was feeling uncomfortable and also asked throughout the treatment if she was putting too much or too little pressure. I always thought getting a massage was awkward but I am thoroughly surprised and glad that I stopped in.”

“Dr. Mark Taylor is an excellent pediatric dentist. He's been my dentist for 33 years! Yes, he's a pediatric dentist, but since he's never made me switch, I never have. He knows his stuff (teaches dentistry at Creighton). He's done my routine dental care and braces. I've only ever had to see someone else for wisdom teeth. He's honest and doesn't over treat or recommend fancy, expensive treatments. I know this because I have the benefit of having a grandfather who used to be a dentist. All of his second opinions backed up Dr. Taylor's recommendations. I get compliments on my smile and that's thanks in part to Dr. Taylor. I don't hesitate to recommend him.”

“We were having a funeral for a church member last Friday, April 1st in the morning. A nearby neighbor walking his dog called 911 because he saw some kids trying to get into the cars in our parking lot! I wanted to commend the patrol cruiser that came VERY QUICKLY (about 10:45 AM) as their presence pulling into our lot scared them off. When they ran, the police cruiser departed quickly: don't know if they were able to catch/follow them. After the fact we were able to pull up three of our security cameras and have the young men on tape walking through our back parking lot, walking up alongside the building to our front parking lot, then trying the doors on several vehicles. Fortunately nothing was stolen and there was no damage. I believe it was due to the QUICK RESPONSE of our Northwest police officers. We greatly appreciate you and ALL that you do to keep us safe. Yours is a difficult and often thankless job, so I wanted to make sure to take the time to say THANK YOU for coming so quickly and preventing what could have been a very unpleasant outcome during a family's time of grief and sorrow.
