“The rooms are really clean and have all the amenities that most other hotels of the same rating have. The only concern I have is that none of the amenities regarding recreation, like the gym and pool are open late enough. If those were open until about 11 or 12 then I would not have any complaints whatsoever.”

“Pleasant and accommodating staff, with slightly dated rooms that could use some TLC. Overall a clean and pleasant experience, with a few bumps. We found ourselves in need of last minute lodging with early check in availability; the staff worked their hardest to accommodate us!! The first room we were given the air-conditioning was broken and the in room phone did not work, they quickly and happily changed our room. The second room the door did not latch correctly so the door was not secure unless using the dead bolt, they sent a maintenance man right away to handle the problem. The mattress was extremely comfortable, linens and towels fresh and clean, and overall the rooms were clean. Despite the bumps along the way we would stay here again if in the area.”

They were flexible, helped me with various tasks I needed over the course of my stay, and seemed to genuinely care about me and my circumstances. They continuously checked to see if I needed anything to make my stay more comfortable. Wonderful place!”

“The room was super tiny! But it was cozy and comfortable. There was a soft window seat in our room that was long enough to lay down on. So almost like a second bed. Bed was super comfy. The person at check out was very hard to hear because he spoke so quiet but he was very nice. The hot tub and pool were both dirty and cold.”

“Decent prices n very nice n friendly people. Is definitely worth it. They have a $10 bag full of fireworks for kids. First time I ever went there was this yr but I was very pleased with what I paid for.... my kids all enjoyed them. Oh also if u are looking for artillery shells cheap they are a good idea. I bought I believe it was a six pack of the shells with the tube for $5 n for $5 they were some pretty good ones! May definitely go back next yr.... if not for the big stuff then definitely the stuff that I'll have my kids fire off.”

“We were headed home through the latest snow storm and needed a quiet place to get adequate rest for the night. When I called Amy answered and was extremely understanding and hospitable! When we arrived everything was taken care of and she was extremely helpful and kind. The room was comfortable, the morning staff was amazing, buffet was top notch for a continental breakfast. I highly recommend this location for both the accommodations, price, and hospitality!!!”

“My experience was horrible. The rooms are small.They let people smoke when they're supposed to be some feets away from the building and the people who work here are the main ones smoking. They let people smoke in the rooms and try to blame other people who don't smoke. The front desks are mean and rude. They tried to steal my money. They gave away my room that I reserved. They tried to fix the AC but it only made it worse. They only gave me one shampoo bottle with three people in a room. I was walking in my room cooking some food and it burned up the kitchen stove and I started screaming.Tina is rude. They let people pull the fire alarm and scare people. You could catch the virus here!! They pick and choose who they want to be nice to. I would never advise ANYONE TO STAY HERE IT IS HORRIBLE!!”

“The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because of the musty smell. It wasn’t a constant smell and I think it was just from the old carpet. Other than that it is a great place to stay. “Awesome place. Nice comfortable rooms and the bed was awesome. They were very full during my stay with lots going on in town, however the noise level in the room was noticably quite low. A nice surprise when compared to similar stays in other hotels. An updated decor throughout. All the amenities available. Being located in the downtown Haymarket area, it's only a short walk to a variety of awesome restaurants, pubs, shopping and local activity. This makes the Hyatt a "Place" I will definitely return to and refer to others. I gave 4 stars instead of 5, basically due to parking and the slow time it takes for checking in or out.”
