“I should have written this review some time ago. My aunt passed away about 3 1/2 years ago, but she was a resident there for about 5 years after having a car accident. We toured about 5 facilities in Lincoln before choosing Legacy. We NEVER regretted our decision! Not only do they have lovely facilities, but their most AMAZING attribute is their staff! We loved them all! They were always out in the halls talking to the residents and I think they knew everyone’s name. She had to eventually move to the assisted living section where she received the same amazing care. She peacefully passed away there. We will be forever grateful for the staff and the unbelievable care she got there. I live in Omaha and currently have my mother in law in an assisted living facility. It looks lovely, but the staff is really lacking. Didn’t realize what we had at Legacy until we experienced something else.”

“I can not say enough positive things about the pediatric therapy here! After a very negative experience with the Millard school district trying to get my son speech help, I sought private therapy for him. They were exceptional!! From the the very first evaluation to the ending session, it was clear family centered care was a top priority. They realize they are with him for minutes each week and the rest lies to his family to work on. We worked with Rachel and she is top notch! She gave homework, guidance and support as well as making the sessions fun. It’s tough to get a 3yr old to work 30 minutes on something that is challenging. She always came with a fresh approach and new, fun activities. I’m so very happy we sought out care at Madonna. I will sing their praises for years to come. My son has made great progress in just weeks. Thank you for caring for the whole family. The Omaha community is very blessed and fortunate to have Madonna as an option for care!!”

“I was recently admitted to the hospital with multiple issues with my right lung, which had stemmed from an accident I had a few years earlier, and some other more recent issues. From x-rays and CT scans, I was told that there were multiple issues with my right lung, including being partially collapsed, and there was a lot of uncertainty over exactly what was wrong and how bad the lung was. I was also told it may take two or more surgeries to resolve all the issues in my lung. I was told that Rick would be performing the first surgery, and everyone was telling me how good he was. Rick stopped by to see me the day before the surgery, and gave me the strait talk about what he would be doing in the surgery. The surgery was a huge success, and I was told that Rick was able to take care of all the issues in my lung, so that I would not need to have any more surgeries to resolve remaining issues. There were some post-surgery procedures, but they were non-surgical in nature, and did not last long at all. I started feeling 100% better days after the surgery, and was able to breathe deep without pain, and felt like my lung capacity greatly increased. I’m looking forward to living a normal prolonged life, now that my lung condition is getting back to normal, and living a full life without issues with my lung. I would recommend Rick for any type of surgery for lungs, heart or anything in the thoracic area.”
