“I always wanted to check out the Hard Hat Lounge and, once inside, I was pleasantly surprised to find a hidden gem, Steel City Sandwich (a tiny, but amazing sandwich production inside a bar). Taylor immediately greeted me with a huge smile, a personal introduction, a menu, and an infectious personality. I ordered a Sexy Vegan ($10 cash). Taylor cooked the french fries, onions, and mushrooms, and then prepared my sandwich. The sandwich was as impressive as the service! All of the ingredients were fresh and prepared to perfection. The fries, the star ingredient, were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. They pair very well with the house-made slaw. I am a San Francisco 49ers fanatic, but will proudly frequent this Pittsburgh Steelers' establishment because the food and hospitality are as good as it gets! ALL-STAR PERSON: Taylor.”
