“Nice little playground. The area under the swings and slides is well padded. There is a small separate area with bars for gymnastics. It wasn't crowded on that weekday afternoon, and there were several friendly parents, grandparents and of course kids too. The equipment is safe and sturdy, though a few of the stairs could use some paint touch-up. There are 2 small BBQ grills inside the fenced area, and the grills are within reach of children, so keep that potential hazard in mind if the grills are in use. My 2 yr old grandson had a great time, and we will go again next time we're in that neighborhood.”

“I had a pickup stolen a couple of weeks ago. I called in and reported it, and they sent an officer to investigate and report. The next day a detective called and got more information; both were polite, to the point, and thorough, getting a good picture of what happened. Now, I was starting to come down with the flu, and made several mistakes - for example, I found the truck and drove it home. But I should instead have left it alone and called the PD; it was a crime scene, after all. What was nice was that everyone just calmly dealt with the situation. Policemen here in Las Vegas are noticeably friendlier than where I came from, and those guys weren't bad.”
