Redstone Trailhead

Beautiful as always. The different colors are amazing. As you meander along driving through the Lake Mead National Recreation Center, definitely stop for a while at the Redstone Trailhead and look around!

Great short hike with informational signs. There are two bathrooms, as well as picnic tables and built in grills (bring your own charcoal and food). There is a small parking lot. It is free. The redstones are beautiful and have very interesting shapes, including some arches and veins that almost appear to be tree roots.

This is definitely one of the most beautiful places you could visit. The surrounding area is just breathtaking, it makes you feel so close to nature and God. What a wonderful experience. I am glad we took the time to visit and drive there. Be careful if doing the same as the roads can be a bit tricky to conquer. There is a fee to enter the park area, but its definitely worth every penny. Bugs will definitely be a problem, be careful especially with kids. Do not lose sight of kids as they could get hurt with the rocks. You will not be disappointed to go and enjoy a peaceful day with nature. Look at the pictures and judge for yourself. It's a shame we travel so much out of the country not really paying attention to the beauty of our own. God Bless America always.

Trail is clean and easy to hike. Very Sandy, would recommend solid shoes over sandals. Picnic tables are covered and have BBQ stands too. No water avail, but there are bathrooms. Beautiful area.

A good place for pleasant hiking. Bring your water and camera. Enjoy!
