(November 11, 2020, 10:00 am)The museum was closed when we visited but still worth a visit. This historic 4 story public school used to house 1000 students is designed in 1876. Also it’s the entrance to Virginia City.

(September 14, 2019, 11:45 pm)So much history! One can feel the souls of past inhabitants and sit in the little school desks. Virginia City is a marvelous place to visit and explore.
(July 5, 2019, 9:12 am)Thrilled to return to Virginia City after 25 years and see that this magnificent building has been restored. A must-visit for those interested in daily life and the history of prominent VC residents. Videos, artifacts, and photos help this landmark come alive! Loved it!
