“Had to downsize from a scallop plate to a scallop roll as they were running out of scallops at 4:45, but actually I was surprised that the roll had enough scallops for my Uncle's dinner. I ordered a clam strip dinner do he could have the coleslaw and fries. So all in all for $25+ I thought it was a fair price for the amount and quality of food. The young staff was very accommodating as I was in a bit if a rush and the young man who prepared the food had great customer service ????. I actually assisted another patron to his car with his meal and delivered someone there shake....dies that mean I get an employee discount ???? Whether you are stopping by on the quick it plan to sit at one if the tables, I don't see how you could go wrong. Glad I gave Axel's a second chance, we'll be back.”

“Food was fantastic as usual and the desserts were amazing. I love the barn setting with the roaring fire. We were there on Valentine's day. But most of all our waitress made the night. She was friendly attentive and the perfect waitress. I think she said that either she was new or she usually works the bar. She deserves a raise for being so good. The waitstaff can make it break a restaurant”
