  I placed an order with TackleDirect because I wanted to get something for a friend overseas, and they have everything, the price was reasonable, and they ship everywhere (theoretically). At first, they confirmed my order, then they canceled it because it failed their fraud filter, and didn't notify me at all. It failed the fraud filter because apparently nobody ever ordered 3 jars of plastic minnows for overseas before, but that was the reason I ordered from them in the first place. I found out a week later that the order was canceled when I went to their website and tried to find a tracking number. I was furious, and at first, their response was completely inadequate. Eventually, Chris in sales reached out to me and walked my order through the system every step of the way until delivery to the recipient. Happy ending! Chris bumped them up to 4 stars. Bottom line, look for the tracking number for your shipment. Don't hesitate to contact their sales staff, either directly or on social media. Thanks Chris.

  Great place to shop for fishing tackle and apparel. An asset to Atlantic County and local community. Lots of items you won't find in other fishing stores or shops. Nice variety at different price points. Efficient ordering processes, knowledgeable and pleasant staff that fish for everything from freshwater to inshore salt to the canyons - and they are pumped up to do talk fishing. Tons of know-how to help customers, they hire lots of actual anglers. Ownership and staff respect and treat local captains and customers very well on top of incredible internet business. Their online presence is known to be top-notch and a model for others.
