State Line Lookout Parking

Great place to go hiking and appreciate nature. There are several trails along the the park. Even other less known little areas you can explore.

Have been coming here for years now and always find something new that I didn't emplore before.

Watch out for deer only because if you scare them you might get hurt. Flashlights are definitely recommend here if you come at dusk.

Great parking lot. Adjacent to wonderful hiking trails with splendid vistas. There is also a large concession building with food, books and restrooms for visitors.

Small place, but great views of the Hudson River. It's a great place for a quick stop during a trip, and provides great opportunities for photography.

Went for Hiking with a group of ppl age from 15-30. The overall experience is great. Very nice view. Trail is not difficult and most of them are pretty easy. But if anyone wants to go for the Giant Stairs Trail, I recommend hiking shoes or slippery proof shoes. Did not see any map showing all the trail (maybe I missed it). There are plenty of signs on the way.

What a great place to start and end a hike. Pick up a couple of sandwiches for the trail (or just to sit and enjoy the view) for about $5 each. Trail maps, books, gifts, nature displays, clean restrooms, and friendly staff happy to answer questions.
