“First time ever in Cape May. We usually go to Maryland or Delaware beaches, since we live closer to them. The Fiance and I decided to go on labor day. We needed a place to eat that was original and not typical bar food. We found this gem right across the street from the water. We were politely greeted by the hostess. We sat down, the waitress was super nice and even faster with our food. We had our food and drinks within 10 minutes. We ordered the Turkey brie and calamari. The Turkey brie was phenomenal and enough for 2 people. The calamari was excellent. Perfectly fried with a light crisp. It came with marinara and some lemon sauce. We also had the molten chocolate cake for dessert to top everything off. I couldn't have asked for a better place to eat. Everything from the staff, to the atmosphere to the food was great. We will be back for sure.”

“Stopped in for lunch while waiting for our check-in time. We were quickly seated and drinks were ordered. Their signature cocktails are great as are their handmade bloody marys. After 2 of them I was in no hurry to check-in. Lots of seafood on their menu and I believe each of us (6 people) got something different. Not sure which dish was the best as we all shared and enjoyed each one. Great place for a nice lunch and I hear it's a rock-in place in the evening.”

“Had breakfast here on our last day in Cape May. Parking was a bit of a challenge but it always is here. Wait time was only 20 minutes for a party of 6 which wasn't bad. They turn over the tables pretty quick. We were seated in a booth really meant for 4 adults and 2 children, not 6 adults. We all got very close that morning. Food was served so quickly we didn't think it was our order. Everything was hot and place in front of each person without the server asking who got the ???. I like that. Pancakes are so delicious here as are the omelets. Everything is fresh tasting and comes out hot. Great breakfast place.”

“On my first vacation to Cape May my boyfriend’s mother suggested we try George’s. She mentioned it was Greek and had both breakfast and lunch during the daytime... so we tried it... and then we tried it again the following day. We love this place! It’s quaint and cozy, they play some great tunes over their speakers, the black and white pictures of the owner and his sons add so much character, the waitstaff is friendly, polite and extremely attentive... oh and the food, well if you enjoy a good Gyro I definitely suggest trying this place during trip. It was inexpensive and extremely enjoyable. This is definitely a hidden gem and a place I look forward to returning to!!!”

“Great night. I wanted to go to a restaurant that was dog friendly after a day at the beach with my puppy. They have a dog menu which I thought was a nice touch. “My husband and I visited this place one evening of our vacation, as we were looking for just a casual dinner in between nights of upscale seafood. The pizza selection is impressive, and I had a hard time deciding because they all looked so good. We went with one of the white pizzas (Florentine), and it was excellent: satisfactorily cooked, with plenty of cheese and toppings. I have a serious gluten allergy, and was very pleased that the pizza was sent out uncut, with a clean pizza slicer, so we could be sure it was not contaminated during slicing. The size (12") is great for a gluten-free pizza. My husband and I were barely able to finish one pizza between us. We also shared a house salad, one of the two simple salads on the menu that were cheaper than the other salads, so I assumed it was probably a fairly small side salad. I was pleasantly surprised at the generous portion of that as well. There were plenty of fresh carrots, tomatoes, red onions, and olives in it. Finally, our service was OUTSTANDING; we had a very competent waitress who checked in often and clearly was extremely capable of taking care of a dining room on her own. This is a place we would visit again without hesitation. Cape May needs more affordable and casual eateries with great food like this.”
