“Excellent grilled cheese sandwiches - best I've had in a very long time. There are outside tables to enjoy the weather while enjoying this good food. Try the grilled cheese with tomato soup - an all time favorite. Friendly, courteous staff. A great place to enjoy lunch while enjoying your stay at the shore. I gave it only 4 stores because it is a casual restaurant, not a "five-star" restaurant, but it really could be worth 5 stars for it being so delicious.”

“We travelled here from Cape May after reading the reviews, since a lot of the CM restaurants are closed this time of year (January). It was a great decision. We started off with their fire roasted peppers in a balsamic glaze and it was amazing. Then salads, house dressing and their bread with a roasted garlic and oil dip, which we thoroughly enjoyed. I had their pescatore passomonti, but in a white wine sauce with the lobster tail, and it was just a perfect dish, lots of flavor, the little next clams were small and sweet the calamari were sliced in thin rings and were delicious. We finished with their cheese cake with fresh berries and it's was a perfect ending to a great meal. Amber took verify good care of us too.”

“Went here during my visit in Sea Isle. I was pretty impressed! It's BYOB, and they will give you an orange juice pitcher for mimosas. The coffee was also quite good. I ordered an eggs Benedict with salmon, potatoes, and it came on an English muffin. It was fantastic! The portions are not huge, but it was perfect portion! The servers were nice and helpful. However, I am taking away a star as the waitress never refilled our water cups, even though she came out many of times. The prices are not bad, and I would definitely recommended coming here for brunch in Sea Isle!”

“My family and I recently had dinner at Azzurra Pizzeria and we had a GREAT meal. My wife ordered a salad and it was huge and very fresh. Our pizzas were done perfectly. Just the right amount of sauce, cheese, and crispness. I also had a couple of slices of sicilian that were really, really good. For dessert we got cannolis and they were awesome. We got to meet the new owners and they couldn't have been nicer. In fact, everybody we met there was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is big with plenty of seating (both inside and outside) and very clean. The next time we are visiting the Jersey Shore, we will definitely make the drive to Sea Isle for some pizza at Azzurra!”

But don't worry about that--the friendly staff will allow plenty of time to choose. If it helps, their peach pancakes and cranberry-orange pancakes are awesome!”

“Overall, La Finestra is another great option for Italian Cuisine in SIC. The best aspect of the restaurant is the location (center of town) and the view from both floors of the restaurant of the boardwalk and ocean, in addition to it being BYOB! The reservation experience through open table was easy and checking in once we arrived was also a good experience. One of the things you will notice as you walk in to either dining room is that it is very crowded and as a result can get very loud. It definitely isn't the place to go for a quiet, romantic dinner. The service was overall really good. The wait and bus staff all were very nice and attentive. The menu offers a nice selection while not being overwhelming. The food was very good, but not over the top or anything that in my opinion sets it apart from the other places on the island; it was slightly above average. One of my common gripes, with La Finestra being no exception, is that the entrees do not include a salad. Considering the higher prices for the food, I think a salad should be included. Overall, I had a good experience and I definitely could see myself returning.”
