(December 18, 2017, 2:52 pm)Hapward's Tennis Shop is the # ONE Tennis Shop in the UNIVERSE. I have been going there since 1972 when I marveled at the photo of former world # 1 BIll Tilden hitting his slice backhand that is on the wall. I figured then, that if the place was good enough for Tilden, then for sure it is must be a great place for professional tennis help and equipment. Stringing done consistently well. Good prices. (September 8, 2017, 7:39 am)This is an amazing place to buy tennis gears. I went there first to get new strings on my racket. Later when I was there for pickup I got excellent price on a Babolat racket. Rich who runs the show at this place is really helpful. He gave me correct suggestions on strings and what pattern to use as I am having arm problems. I am also buying shoes from him in next few weeks. Going to Hapward’s is only because of Rich. No Rich No Hapward’s.
