Yes, you can save money by going to Home Depot and Lowes, if you want to make the trip. But will anyone there take a grinder to piece of hardware so it fits a difficult spot (free of charge), as these guys did for me one day? Or will a big box employee walk you up and down their aisles to gather all the supplies you require for a project, as these folks did on another occasion? Will they wave you off a more expensive product, when a cheaper one will do the job? Will they reopen the store after a long day, so that you can buy an emergency item? I don't think so. Shop here. This store is the real deal. It's more than worth the minor mark-up.”

“Anne is great! Very down-to-earth and no frills. She gave me a major cut a few weeks ago (I asked for at least seven inches off) and quelled my fears about flat, lifeless hair. She made it super buoyant and full! I won't go to anyone else now. I even called to say I wanted to go a little shorter and she had me come in the next day and took every layer up an inch (not just the bottom) free of charge. I highly recommend her, especially since she uses organic products and is mindful of chemicals!”
