  We loved our time at Cresthill! We recently moved out of Hoboken and miss the care we had at Cresthill everyday. I felt like they did a great job really getting to know our son and would keep us updated throughout the day with pictures. I also appreciated that we had a weekly touch base with his teacher to see how he was doing. I was super uneasy about sending our 5 month old to daycare but Cresthill made it really easy!

  My family had a wonderful experience at Cresthill Academy. We began sending my son there when he was just a few months old. All the teachers and administrators at Cresthill truly love the kids and really care for them if they were their own. He also learned so much and did so many unique activities that I never would have thought to do at home. Cresthill really felt like a second family for my son and the kind of learning environment that allows kids to thrive.

  I enrolled my son at Cresthill Academy (Uptown) when I was looking for opportunities for him to socialize and be in a learning environment at 16 months old. My first impressions of Cresthill were that it felt like more than babysitting, and it would be a place where the teachers got to know and encourage my son to grow and learn. During our time there, Cresthill continued to exceed our expectations and make improvements to the center with an outdoor play space, and offered additional opportunities like dance classes for the kids. It always felt like the director was going above and beyond for my family. Every teacher was friendly, helpful, communicative, and really took care of my son like they loved him. As a working parent, it was a relief to know I was taking my son to a loving, safe, and clean environment every day.

  When we moved to Hoboken in 2018, our son was 1 year old and had been in a nanny share since 4 months old. I was nervous about sending him to daycare, especially since he wasn’t even crawling yet. We started him at Cresthill in July 2018, and now that it’s a year later, I can’t imagine life without Cresthill! From the wonderful, caring directors and teachers to the amazing families and kids, Cresthill has truly become a community of friends, and it has been an incredible place for our son to grow and develop. I am proud of his progress, and am so very grateful to Cresthill for everything they have done for us as a family since we started last year. Sadly we are leaving Cresthill soon, as we have an au pair starting next month to take care of our toddler and newborn. I wish Cresthill had a drop off program so that we could send our toddler part time. A deeper sibling discount would also be a great incentive for retaining families with two children.

  We are extremely happy with our choice to enroll our child at Cresthill Academy, uptown. It was extremely difficult for me to wrap my mind around leaving my infant at daycare but I quickly discovered that Cresthill is not merely a daycare; it is a safe and loving environment where everyone, even teachers not in your child’s classroom, love your child and foster their development. I definitely had tears at the first few drop offs but those disappeared within a matter of days as I could see my child loved his experience. As soon as he could hug, he hugged his teachers good-bye. He thrived in the program and with his teachers. I thought I did a lot at home but I certainly didn’t do art projects with my 5 month old! My mom is a retired teacher and she is extremely impressed with all of the educational and age appropriate developmental activities Cresthill has for the kids. They go above and beyond spending personal time to create special activities for the kids and the families. It would be a lot easier for them to forego field trips and water play and holiday activities but they do them all and more. I’m confident my child is safe in their care. We also love the organic meals and snacks that are provided for the older children. We are so happy to see our child growing at Cresthill!
