“The ongoing pandemic has definitely taken a toll on a lot of businesses and public places since a consumer’s mindset to buy anything outside of essentials or to visit a public place like a park or beach, has crippled down significantly. Now by living with what has become the new normal, it is commendable on how these businesses and public places continue to remain open and cater to the general public by following the safety standards. It is now all the more important that we as customers, support these heroes during these dark hours to mankind. My wife and I had been looking for some form of sport activity around Jersey city and that’s how we ran into this Badminton club. They have an online registration form to be filled out for booking a court for full 2 hours with number of players. The more you take with you, the cheaper it will be per person. There’s also a WhatsApp group that is pretty active with people asking or updating their availability to play for a certain time slot, calling out the play level - Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced. Finding this place was a bit tricky as the entrance is little unassuming and you need to fight out the street parking as they don’t have a dedicated one. Luckily we didn’t have to go through that as we took the last slot of the day - 9.30-11.30. They check the body temperature before letting you in and you can get to your desired court without a second of waiting. They have four active courts and the facility is part of a school that maintains it pretty well. We even watched a masked up gentleman spraying disinfectants once, along the sitting area. Masks are mandated except for the playing time and they currently don’t have walk-ins to reduce the crowd during the pandemic. They provide feathered cocks for a $ if you don’t bring your own and provide rackets as rentals for $3. We had a great time and we have certainly found our new go-to place to flex our muscles.”

“Truck Drivers, before you take your truck to any shop in Northeast Region, make sure you know the problem with your truck, or find a good repair shop. My truck broke down in CT on I-84, I towed it to the nearest repair shop, they told me it was EGR valves, we changed both of them with new EGR valves, nothing changed,truck was still doing the same thing (no power) I wasted $4500 for nothing, they didn’t find the problem, if you have Volvo don’t let any mechanic work on it, most of them don’t know it and they won’t tell you. I had to tow it again from that shop to the Volvo dealership, they don’t have software for 2005 Volvo engine the mechanic said. I decided to tow it to NJ to this shop (30 minutes oil change) all the mechanic did was driving it to inside the shop, and he found the problem, he found it without opening the hood or connect it to the computer. it’s the clutch he said. It was the clutch, my truck is running great again. If you’re looking for a quick repair shop in East Coast look for this shop, I highly recommend it, I watched them how hard they work to put trucks back on the road, I was impressed for their skills, take your truck to this shop you won’t regret.”

“I just SUPER LOVE this place!!! Good Shrimp and Chips!!! Golden crisp, fried to perfection the cute shrimp and adorable chips! I have been to the food truck location as well as their location on route 22. Same same same!! Love it!! Love it!! Love it!! And the Tartar Sauce Delicious!!! I love a good tartar and they nailed it!!! Thank you for bringing back a good ole fish & chips spot!! P.s. and they open late on the weekends...2 am type late!!! ????”

“Really great experience there. Was looking for large carpet remnants to use as large rugs. Joe was so incredibly helpful and wanted to make sure we were happy. Picking remnants from a warehouse filled with rolled up carpet is not easy but Joe took great care of us. He was very good to work with and honest. He asked what we were using each piece for and only recommended buying a pad for 1 one of them. He could've tried to sell us more but instead sold us what we needed. Very pleased. If you want large rugs, like almost covering an entire room, go to Wilson's and find a great value with exceptional service.”
