I have previous experience with vocal coaching and Justin offered techniques as well as perspective that I hadn’t previously come across. As a hobby singer I came to Justin with numerous bad habits. Habits and muscle memory can be tricky to unlearn and retrain but Justin was able to guide me to proper technique in easy to understand concepts and simple techniques. “My daughter went to PreK-4 2016/17 class. At first I had a lot of concerns about this school. Information is very limited about this place and I felt uncomfortable sending my kids by bus to this place. However, it turned out to be a very good preK experience for us. Pro: Great teacher!!! Miss Palmer was so loving, very kind and attentive to all the kids. She is a lot of fun and very energetic. Classroom are very well equipped with all necessary stuff to keep 4-5 old occupied, tons of toys and learning materials. Bus experience was great(driver+2 very attentive bus attendants). Nap time is on the school cots, not on mats, so you need to purchase standard crib sheet. Cons: no playground, school lunch is okay( we brought our own breakfast and lunch), no AC in the rooms( it gets hot beginning Sept and end of June)”

“My son has been a part of AlphaMinds Academy for the last six years. I can say, with confidence, that the Academy did make a difference in his life. He excels in math and was even able to participate in the International Math Olympiad last year. He truly enjoys spending mornings in Fall and Spring in this wonderful enterprise. He has been taking Math, Chess, Coding, and Essay Writing classes. There are many enrichment programs to choose from but AlphaMinds is quite unique in its approach. Its inclusive to all the students and the class level is determined by the student's abilities. It only employs the most qualified instructors that are experts in their respective fields. The small class size ensures the personalized attention. Yes, there is a significant amount of homework that is posted on the website every week. So, this place got all the ingredients right to form the solid educational institution but what makes it exceptional is the magic of highly motivated kids, supportive parents and enthusiastic teachers that make up this unique community of young learners. Although the school typically delivers in class instructions, I have no doubts that it will also excel in providing the viable remote learning opportunity.”

“I'm surprised to see that an adult would write such negative reviews about St. Joseph's Grammar School. I feel that this school will always have a special place in my heart because of the memories I made there. This school has helped me become a better person academically, spiritually, and morally. I have always looked at all the teachers as such great role models, and I still do. My Terra Nova test scores always exceed above average percentile, which led for me to get accepted into a high standard academic scholar program. It's a shame that a person will make negative comments about the school without having personal experience in it. One thing that will always stand out if you have been to St. Joe's is the warm and joyful feelings when you walk in every morning. I will always walk, talk, and live in the peace of Christ.”

“Park View Academy is a new daycare located in the Vantage building for children ages infant to pre-school. The main entrance is around the corner on St Peter's St by South Cove. This daycare is on the smaller side, but this allows the caregivers to really know each child individually. At Park View Academy, children learn to not only play with and talk to each other, but communicate with adults. The caregivers at Park View Academy are always engaged in the games and conversations the children are having, which in the future can help the children feel more comfortable talking to other children, adults and school teachers.”

“My boyfriend surprised me in late September with an afternoon sail with Captain Dave, and we had the most wonderful time! Dave is such an enjoyable Captain, as he chatted with us and provided smooth sailing the entire time we ventured around the Brooklyn and NYC waterfronts. The weather was perfect, we were able to play some music, and enjoyed wine and snacks as we relaxed on the water. It was such a delightful experience. I'd highly recommend embarking on one of Captain Dave's adventures!”

“I have a 2 year old at cradle to crayon and i love how accommodating they are to each kid. They know the kids by name, they are seperated by age group and are very attentive. My only draw back is a few closings or short days for events or holidays. Im always informed about the closings and short days in advance, it's just hard for me personally to find a sitter. Other than that it's wonderful.”
