“Caveat: this Lerry's wife...for some reason, it signed in as him...just sayin' this is from a woman's perspective: Personally, I have found the owner to be a highly skilled stylist...so much so that sometimes the cut lasts so many months (with me cutting my bangs of course!) that I don't return for up to 6 months!?! By then, my hair has become a complete rat's nest and I need rescuing...that's where Hedy steps in. She knows how to cut my hair. Every time I go there--bar none--I quietly say to myself, "don't bother the artist while she's at work". There are hair cutters and there are artists...if an artist is what you want, you'll be pleasantly surprised. She loves what she does, that is clear. Happy customer ”

“Located off Rt. 22 in Whitehouse Station, Hionis is a moderate sized nursery with very reasonable prices. When I went in late May last year, they had a large selection of annuals and hanging plants in excellent condition. This year I had to go later near the end of June and although they still had loads of plants, many needed a good dead-heading and you gardeners know what I mean. However, the prices were excellent for the hanging sweet potatoe vine and petunia (purple and white mixed) that I did purchase. Just over $20”

“Went there today and loved it. This store used to be a church and it was meticulously converted to a fabulous antique shop. Everything in the store is top notch and the owner is a first class gentleman. I bought a beautiful lamp and a vintage leather bound Hemingway book. This was a great day out. Also down the block is the Tewksberry Inn restaurant...try their Hamburger for lunch, it rocks!”
