  For the past 6 months since I have joined Brazen, I have been nothing but extremely happy with my experience. I attend fitness classes, MMA and BJJ. I have always worked out consistently, but something I have always wanted to try was MMA and BJJ. being a woman, I was a bit nervous to enter classes that had a majority of men. Those fears were immediately taken away when I joined MMA and BJJ at Brazen. Coaches Garry and Mickey have made me feel nothing but comfortable and empowered. I find myself being at Brazen almost 7 days a week because it feels like a second home to me. Not only are the coaches great, but everyone who attends Brazen is like one big family. We push each other, we motivate each other and we grow together. If you are having thoughts of wanting to start fitness classes, MMA or BJJ.. This is the place to be.

  Student here since November 2012. I keep coming back for the following reasons:
  
  ~ The fees are so reasonable and the attention by the instructors/trainers is unprecedented at this or even higher price points. The genuinely care about your goals. If, for instance, you aren't looking to improve your shape, they'll emphasize a steady work ethic. If however you want to drop weight, improve shape, they'll ensure you are working properly to achieve that goal. The instructors are invested in you while you are there and will commonly walk up to you while you're in the throes of class and encourage you, or if you need it, improve your form.
  
  ~ The workouts are second-to-none. You will sweat, you will work and you will feel like you accomplished something. Again, whether or not your goals are ambitious, you will leave more fulfilled and convinced you are amazing and there's too much being invested to know leave feeling proud of yourself.
  
  ~ The friendly, inviting atmosphere. Fellow students are not intimidating at all. They're you and me, just ordinary people looking to burn calories, improve their health, their shape, their confidence. Instructors/teachers are equally approachable and make everyone feel important. I have never felt I don't belong at Brazen, nor have I met someone in class that was too intense to enjoy working out alongside.
  
  ~ Its convenient. Classes are peppered throughout weekdays and weekends. Early morning classes, mid-evening classes, all make attending painless amid a trying, day-to-day lifestyle.
  
  ~ You will see results. I was 240 lbs when I joined Brazen. At my biggest, I was 270, and I'm barely 5' 9". Brazen's brand of fitness has kept my weight off for entering my sixth year now. I have no doubt that had I attended a random gym, as an anonymous person, I would not have the the strength, muscle definition and overall physique I have and maintain today. I am not a chiseled, bronze statue. But I am healthy, fit and overjoyed at the way I look. It is undoubtedly and entirely due to Brazen's fitness curriculum and the organization's passionate commitment to making me feel every day like I am deserving of a healthy, fit life.

  My now 6 year old has been going to Brazen for a little over a year now. He loves it and it’s by far the best activity he does. The coaches somehow manage to balance fun with instruction and find a level appropriate for each student. The ability to attend any 2 of the 4 weekly classes offered for his age group is extremely helpful in our busy lives. If your considering Martial Arts for your child I highly suggest you take them up on their offer of a few free classes like I did.

  My Daughter Lillian started Brazen Martial Arts a week after her 3rd birthday. She is learning balance, self reliance, confidence, concentration and discipline in a way that just cannot be done at home. The coaches are insanely patient and take a real interest in each and every one of their students. You can tell the coaches are invested and also having just as much fun ( if not more at times ) then the students they teach..

  I've been training with Brazen for a few years now. I love the coaches and the atmosphere. Brazen teaches focus, discipline and most of all self confidence. They have always been there for me and have supported my goals through out the years. The children's programs is wonderful and allows the children to grow. The adult program allows you to learn as well as get into great shape through martial arts. I recommend this to anyone of any age that wants to get into great shape, learn self defense and gain self confidence. Come and try it out and I promise you will love it.
