I had tight holding in my back- a constant ache that was affecting my day-to-day and sleep.

My session with Dr. Christina started with a thorough evaluation- ranging from postural habits, sleep position, my gate, and emotional stressors that had come up recently. She also did some range of motion tests.

The *adjustment* section of our session was unlike anything I had experienced with chiropractors in the past. I remember feeling that other practitioners would run through a one-size-fits-all string of cracks and pops that left me feeling jolted and sore.

My time with Dr. Christina was different- she spent so much time massaging out tight muscles; leading me through breathing exercises to relax my body and mind enough to be ready for movement in my spine.
The misalignments I had came from my patterns of tightness and I felt us working together to reset and bring me back to a baseline.
(one of the best adjustments for me was my right wrist which I hadn’t even come for- but bothers me often. What a release!!!)
After the biggest movement I had- my neck and upper back that had been locked in a vice- I felt a wave of relief. Dr. Christina gave me the time to incorporate and we talked about practices that would help me stay in alignment.

It’s been a few days and the tightness and pain in my back is gone! I plan to continue to see Christina for tune- ups every few months and feel so grateful to have a practitioner I can turn to!!!

When I first was diagnosed with Ramsey Hunt Syndrome as a result of shingles attacking my 7th nerve in the back of my head, I was terrified. I read on line that Acupuncture was sometimes used to battle the symptoms. I asked a friend that had used acupuncture for back pain who he used. He recommended Synergy in Murfreesboro. I called and made an appointment with Dr. Cristina Pisanello. What a blessing that was, she was so professional, caring, and very effective. When I began, my right eye would not close, my mouth was drooping and I was in pain. After only four sessions, I have recovered almost all of my normal activities. My eye now closes, I have recovered almost all of my mouth functions, she is awesome. I highly recommend Dr. Pisanello, she has saved me!!!! If you have a need for acupuncture, you should call Dr. Pisanello, you will not be disappointed! I will use her every time I need this service!!!!!
