The owners and staff were above and beyond the nicest and friendliest I have experienced, whether from helpful restaurant recos to helping me jump a car that ran out of batteries. Rooms were nice and clean. Breakfast was excellent. Beach chairs and towels provided. Common areas and outdoor patios were spacious and pleasant. Highly recommended.

(August 10, 2018, 4:53 pm)We spent few days earlier in the week at this lovely B&B in Ocean Grove, the Lillagaard. The proprietors, Suzanne & Kevin, were delightful, the rooms were charming, comfortable and clean, the staff was attentive and there were many extras, including a full breakfast every morning. But the topping on the cobbler, so to speak, was when I received a call that I had left two sweaters behind. Despite missed calls back and forth, they persisted in finding out the best way to get the sweaters back, and today I received this box, the sweaters neatly folded! If you’re looking for a charming quiet getaway, check out the Lillagaard! You won’t be disappointed!

(June 15, 2018, 10:00 am)We stayed mid week for a nice little getaway. Our room had a lovely view of the ocean. Spent some relaxing time on the porches on lower and upper levels. New owner was lovely and helpful. The breakfasts were yummy and the kitchen is open 24/7 to make tea or coffee. We borrowed beach chairs and towels and an umbrella for the beach. Very relaxing trip and would stay here again for sure!!!
