“Because OLM has closed their doors I am leaving my review of OLMC in Boonton here. I love Our Lady of Mount Carmel School in Boonton because the 8th graders know the preschoolers names. Because my son is one of 11 not one of 25 which guarantees, to me, that he will get all the help and attention he needs especially in the formative elementary school years. I love the extra programs offered at OLMC like the extremely well thought out drama and theater program for preschoolers through 8th graders. Art class, religion class, physical ed music class, Spanish, a brand new computer lab to name a few great things going on day to day. The entire school: students, parents, and faculty all going through a anti bullying program. Teachers with years of experience, new teachers that are full of fresh ideas, and you may not realize several teachers at OLMC have doctorates. This year 2010/11 the whole school is participating in a how full is your bucket and everyone age 3 to 70 is learning about how your behavior affects people both good (filler) and bad (dipper). Our Lady of Mount Carmel School is a hidden gem within the Boonton area community. ”
