(July 12, 2018, 9:16 pm)Great omelets! Quiet, comfortable, private setting near Mountain Lakes train station. Excellent, attentive service, fresh food—reasonably priced. Lots of easy parking directly in front and in side lot.
Always a relaxing, enjoyable breakfast experience. -

(June 12, 2018, 10:39 am)WONDERFUL FOOD, STAFF, AND LOCATION! So impressed! Had a salad with salmon. The salmon was cooked to perfection. Now, a salad with salmon is one of my standing orders at many restaurants, but I did not realize what I was missing until now. Hapgood's put the perfect sear on the outside and it was seasoned wonderfully. My son loved the ribs and my daughter, the mac and cheese. Our waitress was friendly - not just sort of friendly - but obviously cared, and Bill, the owner, was a joy. Place was beautiful, clean, and inviting. 5 Stars.
