“This was our first major move as we were in our current house for 32 years and we were moving from Montclair, NJ to Bluffton SC. We did research online and through friends and wanted to go with a local mover who was highly recommended but their larger van was booked. They recommended to us to call Greg Lefkowitz who handles the sales end for Armstrong Relocation. He was able to come the next day and walk through the entire house noting all the items that needed to be moved and packed. While other movers stated we needed to pack our own mirrors, glass table tops and chandeliers, he easily included them in the price. They also transported our kayaks when other movers stated we had to do it ourselves. The pricing was right in the middle of other prices we received. Greg explained the entire process and gave us a quote on the spot. We were assigned Dana Woolley as our moving coordinator who stayed in touch with us throughout the move and called us everyday when the movers were here. The crew and driver were very professional for packing and unpacking. Keith, the driver was particularly helpful and made sure everything went well on both sides of the move. We did have an issue at the unloading when one of the crew (from their local company- not Armstrong) dropped a box between the rafters of a storage area in the second floor and broke through the sheet rock into the kitchen. It was a mess but they cleaned it up and put plastic over it. They took full responsibility and it was fixed in less than a week with full payment from them. Things happen in a move and all our furnishings arranged with no damage and were placed and put back together by the crew. Good people and glad our moving experience was not the nightmare I heard from others. Highly recommend you call them for your moving needs.”
