The Gables Historic Inn & Restaurant

Will return again to this welcoming, cozy piece of the past. Charm in every room and the food is delicious. Rooms have the fluffiest bedding you won't want to leave.

This may have been the best meal of my life. The food was excellent and the service was even better. You will not be disappointed.

The location and views can't be beat. The food was well above average. Our ravioli appetizer in particular was great. Unfortunately, the great experience was held back by a few minor things. Our table in the garden was very small and too close to some foliage, so that a bush was practically on my head. Our waiter was great aside from the fact that he wasn't able to come over to us too often. It seemed like they needed a but more waitstaff to properly cover the tables they were serving.

We went to Gables tonight with our best friends and had the tasting menu. Everything was wonderful. The presentation was phenomenal.. each dish exceeded expectations. As always we had a spectacular meal and great experience. This is a special gem on Lbi and it just gets better year after year.

The food definitely was a thousand times better than last time we came here. The food and waitress were awesome. We can not wait to come back. The flowers and garden are beautiful. We had a great experience.
