“I walked in an hour before closing looking for just a quick haircut because my thick hair was getting heavy and giving me headaches. I was interested in doing a color but didn’t think there would be enough time. The owner Michael, who took care of me, is such a nice and humble man. He made sure to make me feel like he wasn’t in any rush at all. What I truly appreciate is that he is very honest about the different hair processes, how much, and what it would take to achieve a certain look you want. The color and style I wanted took several steps of beaching and dying, so let’s just say that several hours was spent to achieve it. During that time, I was able to get to know Michael and watch him do his magic! The level of skill and technique definitely matches the 30+ years of experience that he mentioned he has! While washing out my bleach dye and color, I was educated on how often I should wash my hair for optimum color preservation and which products to use! I loved the shampoo he used so I was able to purchase it right then and there, which definitely saved me the hassle of ordering online or finding a store with it in stock before my next wash. I would also like to add that although he is equipped to handle all types of hair, I personally have had a hard time finding someone who can cut my asian hair without cutting too much off, so I am so happy to find someone who did just that! He barely cut an inch off! Had such an amazing experience and I can’t wait to go back! I wish I could give 10 stars.”
