“Had a very scary experience of ball joint going in the middle of an intersection in Queens. It was after an almost all night work assignment. Thankfully Vatch said he’d be able to take a look at the car when I was able to get it towed in. He was straight with me that it may or may not be ready by the end of the day, depending if it needed some additional work to the obvious problem at hand. I was happy just to get the car in there on a Friday afternoon as my work depends on it. I so appreciate that they could squeeze me in. And because it didn’t need an extra part, the car was ready to go by 5pm. Grateful that I didn’t have to miss the job I had booked for Monday. J&Z is the best. “Great service! Car came back perfect. Nick is really professional and attentive and very honest. I grew up in a mechanic shop when I was a kid (my grandfather owned it and had me work there practically since I could walk). I bring this up because I know what cars need and he was very forthcoming on what was a necessary service. As an example it’s a roadster so why the cabin air filter. Also, hats off to the salesperson. He didn’t know I was picking up my car and when I was looking around the showroom he asked if I needed help. Which was nice. My first “exotic”car was a 911 Porsche and I bought it on a whim because a nice salesperson approached me in a showroom.”

A couple of days ago I had an unpostponable appointment to meet out of estate, but the night before I noticed that the damaged condition of one of my tires could put me in extreme danger. I started to look online for a tire shop around 11pm, hoping to find one that had the tires that are specific for my vehicle and that would also open early in the morning. I was lucky enough to find this tire shop, but even luckier to get a response from the owner to my inquiry almost around midnight. He agreed to accommodate the working hours to help me and opened the shop earlier than usual, he got me very good quality tires, balanced them, cleaned my rims and installed them. The truth is that without his help I wouldn't have made it to my out of estate appointment, and I can't thank him enough for that and will definitely do business with them in the future. Mark had my vehicle checked out found multiple troubles outside my budget, covered the troubles with me. The cost was less than 100.00 dollars! I been charged 100's for diagnostic trouble isolation several times and had to file it under ' it is what it is '. Gave 4 stars only because I did not actually have work done. Facilities are clean and well maintained. Clearly visible from the street. Be advised that this location is right before turn onto Madison Av and cars may come up on you fast as you are turning in, and leaving. Can drop vehicle and key off night before if need. Here's what happened, the transmission on my 08 trailblazer started acting weird took it to a transmission shop and the guy didn't try to figure it out at all he just said I think the trans is going it will cost $2400 to fix. I call Ralph's to get a replacment trans quote and they ask what it's doing and say that doesn't sound like a bad trans. So I took it to them and it was a chaffed wire on a connector they had it fix super fast and didn't rake me over the coals. Can't recommend them enough!”
